Sewing Host Crystal Rowbotham
bring in your patches ( scouts, karate, etc) Learn how to sew patches onto uniforms using a home machine. bring your own machine or rent time on one during the workshop. thread provided for workshop but your welcome to bring your own. open to ages 10 and up, kids under18 must be accompanied by an adult, fee waved for accompanied adult if they are not sewing. Limited machines to rent, limited class size. Cost: $20 per student. Home Machine rental is $5 for the 2 hours. no machine rental fee if you bring your own.

Costume Repair Workshop
9/23/23 5pm to 7pm (ended early due to smoky weather)

We have spent a few years at the Medford Comic Con helping to make quick fixes on cosplays during the day. but for years we have been making and fixing costumes with proper sewing skills and techniques here in the shop to bring life to the fun. Bring in your costumes and cosplays for an evening of community and skill building while we work together on mending and adding embellishments to costumes and cosplays.
Cost to attend: $ FREE
small to medium repairs are free to have repaired. large or reconstruction are at a reduced rate only during the 2 hour event. after the event, all repairs will go back to full price. payment not due till pickup of repairs if repairs have to cost.
no age limit to attend. must have a caregiver onsight if under 13 years of age.
Just in time for Meadowlark Comic Con and the spooky season, space is limited. please only 2 costumes per person, a sponcer has donated money to cover costs of mending and materials during the event for small and medium repairs. larger repairs are at a discounted rate. limited space avalible.
